Abstract
Abstract: This thesis aims to study the legal frameworks that regulate electronic marketing activities through social media platforms in light of Bahraini legislation and comparative legislations (such as Saudi, Qatar and Emirati legislations). The researcher focuses on analysing the current legal rules and their adequacy in regulating electronic marketing through social media platforms. The study is divided into two main chapters: the first chapter discusses the legal relationships arising from electronic marketing on social media platforms, while the second chapter addresses the legal protection against the risks of electronic marketing, with an emphasis on the available legal mechanisms for consumer protection in this field. In conclusion, the researcher reached a set of findings and recommended several proposals to the Bahraini legislator, which are mentioned at the end of the thesis. Additionally, the researcher proposed a legal system that may be more effective in ensuring the protection of the parties involved in electronic marketing activities .
