Abstract

Abstract : This thesis will therefore, first discuss one of the most important topics related to the international law of the sea which was discussed in the united nation convention on the law of the sea in 1982, regarding ocean space. Explaining which ocean space falls under the sovereignty of states and which doesn't. Second, this letter aims to analyze a wide range of issues concerning the international community relating to this topic such as methods to preserve sea environment, preventing sea piracy and preventing illegal sea immigration. The thesis looks at this topic from an international view using international laws as a reference. It will also analyze it by referring and discussing various case laws. This research and analysis leads to several conclusions and recommendations that aims to complement existing legislation
