Abstract
Abstract : This is an investigation of the actual start-up process of small firms in Bahrain. I also endeavoured to compare this process with those available in the literature. In addition, this study identifies the major success factor in the start-up phase and recommends a simplified model which is ap-plicable to the Bahrain environment.
