Abstract
Abstract : This research was conducted to discover and describe the overall methods used by female teachers to manage their classes at boys' public primary schools in the state of Bahrain. Furthermore, the researcher contacted several sources, such as books, studies, articles, and field research, and prepared a list of 80 measures of excellent classroom management, which were then shortened to 15. The data was collected using a 42-item questionnaire given to 172 female teachers randomly selected from a total of 363 teaching at 27 boys' public primary schools. Upon comparing the methods and means of classroom management used with those extracted from the literature, the author reached the following conclusions: 1. More than 50% of the methods most frequently used by female teachers to manage their classrooms were related to providing a suitable social and passionate atmosphere for better learning 2 More than 70% of the methods least frequently used by female teachers to manage their classrooms were related to maintaining order. The study sample widely varied in using the fifteen (15) mostly recommended methods. The variation ranged from 96.5% to only 47.1%, indicating neglect on the part of the female teachers of some necessary means of classroom management, such as: 1. Adopting several disciplinary measures (47.1%). 2. Quietly talking to the trouble-making pupil (52.3%). 3. Caring about each pupil individually (72.7%). 4. Fully utilizing the time allocated for the lesson (77.3%).
