This has led to the emergence of what is now known as the "digital public facility," which has positively impacted both the speed of service delivery and the efficiency of administrative performance. The Kingdom of Bahrain is among the leading countries that have swiftly embraced modern technological developments. One of the most prominent outcomes of these efforts has been the digital transformation of the majority of public services, which has streamlined procedures, reduced the time and effort required from citizens and residents, improved governmental performance, and enhanced transparency and quality in service delivery Digital transformation has also had a profound impact on the legal framework governing public facilities. It necessitated the amendment of existing laws and the enactment of new legislation to regulate digital public services in accordance with contemporary needs. This legal evolution is reflected in the regulation of electronic transactions, the strengthening of personal data protection, the assurance of information security and confidentiality, and the establishment of legal responsibilities for violations. Furthermore, the Kingdom of Bahrain has taken proactive measures to combat cyberattacks and data breaches that may target both governmental and private institutions. These efforts have contributed to reinforcing public and private sectors this trust in digital services.
